Vintage Reclaimed Large Black Leather Bag with Beaded Lucet Cord Handles & Skulls
Once upon a time this vintage bag had a different handle which over the years didn't fare so well. It was doomed for a landfill but after a little TLC and a new set of handles, is ready for new adventures! Vintage leather has a look all it's own and form the base of this pagan-esque reclaimed bag. Revitalized with yards of virgin wool lucet cording, intricately hand braided with wooden beads and rings, each handle completed with a hand carved skull tassel giving a mystical vibe. Lucet cording is a knitting technique on a double pronged loom (looks like a sling shot) that dates back to medieval times and was used across Europe from places like Croatia to up north by the Vikings.
This spacious bag has a zip top closure, inner coin pocket and measures 13" height with the top width starting at 13" and finishing with a 20" bottom. It is easily large enough to put in a notebook, lunch or sneaky change of shoes when late nights keep you in heels too long. This bag is one of a kind so make sure you grab it quick if you want a happy ending to this story!
